Manga porukku made with raw mango, coconut and curd as main ingredients is a typical palakkad side-dish. It can be used as side dish for molagootals, molagooshiam and erissery. As we are using curd too, it is ideal to use the less sour variety of mangoes such as 'Salem manga'.

Raw mango (salem mango) – 1 medium sized - chopped fine
Grated coconut – 4-5 tbsp
Whole red chilli – 1-2
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Fresh yogurt – 2 tbsp
Coconut oil – 1 tsp

Method –
Mix the coconut, red chilli, mustard seeds and salt and grind in a mixer adding just a little water.
Then add the chopped mango and churn once.
Add whisked yogurt and mix well.
Add 1 tsp coconut oil.
Use as side-dish for molagoottal.
